Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future

Today, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a fundamental pillar of corporate identity. At a time when environmental and social concerns dominate global discussions, companies are called upon to play a central role in creating a more sustainable future.

In this context, Nomadia has embarked on a journey of responsibility and sustainability with the conviction that economic success cannot be achieved without a positive and sincere contribution to the environment.

We wish to share with you our carbon footprint, a tangible measure of our impact on the planet, as well as Nomadia’s CSR trajectory embodying our long-term commitment to a more environmentally friendly and socially responsible future.

We invite you to observe the results of our carbon footprint assessment and discover the measures implemented by Nomadia to reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

What is the Carbon Footprint?

The Carbon Footprint is a carbon accounting method that was developed in France in 2004 by ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and is currently managed by the Carbon Footprint Association (ABC). Its main objective is to comprehensively evaluate all greenhouse gas emissions directly related to a company’s activities. This assessment covers upstream phases (such as raw material sourcing and transportation), production stages, as well as downstream phases (including distribution and product use).

To quantify these emissions, the Carbon Footprint method relies on the principle of multiplying an activity data by an emission factor. These emission factors come from reference databases such as the ADEME carbon database and impact database. By using this approach, the Carbon Footprint accurately estimates the total carbon footprint of a company and identifies specific areas where emissions reductions can be achieved.

Nomadia’s trajectory validated by the SBTI

At Nomadia, we are deeply committed to the path of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), recognizing its essential role in building a more sustainable future. We firmly believe that authentic economic success cannot be achieved without a positive contribution to our environment and society.

Our approach includes a rigorous Carbon Footprint assessment that measures all of our greenhouse gas emissions, providing us with a precise view of our impact on the planet. This evaluation helps us identify areas where improvements are needed.

At Nomadia, we believe in collective responsibility and we are proud to share our progress with you, our partners and society as a whole

To realize our commitment to sustainability, we recently reached a significant milestone: the Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi) officially validated our short-term reduction targets of 7% per year. These targets are considered aligned with the Paris Agreements and the 1.5°C trajectory, marking a crucial first step in our decarbonization plan.

This validation by the SBTi attests to the credibility and relevance of our efforts, strengthening our position as an actor committed to the fight against climate change. This validation marks a first step in our journey towards sustainability.

We are implementing a certain number of actions with the aim of reducing our carbon footprint. Here are some of the company’s initiatives (list updated regularly):
